A Brief Survey on Improving the Efficiency of Revisiting Concepts in Semantic web

Ontologies are currently evolving representation technique for overlapping context domains. Ontology is defined as a set of realistic primitives with a domain of knowledge which is to be modeled. Ontologies are the tool for specifying the relationship between the concepts used on the semantic web technology. Ontology mapping is fundamental methodology to achieve interoperability between the existing ontologies in both homogeneous and heterogeneous environment. OWL (Web Ontology Language), is a computational logic based language such that knowledge expressed in OWL can be replaced with a computer programs either to verify the consistency of the knowledge or to make the implicit knowledge as explicit. It is designed for use by the applications that need to process the content of information. The goal of this paper is to provide a brief survey about creation and mapping of ontologies which is used to improve the efficiency of the revisiting concepts in semantic web technology.
